Stereoscope Team

The Project Blinkenlights team is a huge group of people who have contributed in one form or the other. it is more of an open network of people than being just a well-defined group of artists. But we need to mention those who have put most of the effort into making Stereoscope fly.

Core Team

Thomas Fiedler aka "Fiedel"Project coordinator and head of logistics, hardware and electronics specialist. Founder of Project Blinkenlights with Tim Pritlove.

Tim PritloveProject coordinator and master of ceremonies, project evangelist. Founder of Project Blinkenlights with Thomas Fiedler.

Daniel MackHardware and software geek of caiaq. Developed huge parts firmware for our WDIM and WMCU wireless light control system.

Milosch MeriacElectronics specialist of bitmanufaktur. Developed our WDIM and WMCU hardware design based on their existing OpenBeacon platform together with Brita Meriac. Created the lower layers of our wireless dimming protocol and the firmware.

Brita MeriacElectronics specialist of bitmanufaktur. Worked on the hardware design with Milosch Meriac and did the PCB layout of our WDIM and WMCU devices.

Dominik WagnerMacintosh and iPhone software developer at TheCodingMonkeys based in Munich, Germany. Created the Quartz Composer based Stereoscope Creation Suite and co-developed the Stereoscope Simulator for the iPhone in co-operation with Martin Pittenauer. Also created a variety of animations for Stereoscope.

Martin PittenauerMacintosh and iPhone software developer at TheCodingMonkeys based in Munich, Germany. Co-developed the Stereoscope Simulator for the iPhone in co-operation with Dominik Wagner. Also took care of the Live Streaming setup.

Andrew KilpatrickHardware and software developer based in Toronto, Canada. Developed the new Blinkenlights Mixer Engine and the VoIP telephone interface in co-operation with Dan Fraser and Jonathan Fuerth.

Dan FraserSoftware developer based in Toronto, Canada. Developed the new Blinkenlights Mixer Engine and the VoIP telephone interface in co-operation with Andrew Kilpatrick and Jonathan Fuerth.

Jonathan FuerthSoftware developer based in Toronto, Canada. Developed the new Blinkenlights Mixer Engine and the VoIP telephone interface in co-operation with Dan Fraser and Andrew Kilpatrick.

Falk GärtnerAnimator, graphic and 3D designer, VJ and computer artist based in Berlin, Germany. Did extensive work on the 3D model of Toronto City Hall and contributed a huge amount of graphics and animations for Stereoscope. Falk presented the Blinkenlights Symphony live at Nuit Blanche.

Willow De La RocheOn-site backstage angel and mental supporter based in Oxford, UK.

Antenne SpringbornGraphic designer and animator (Antenna Design) based in Berlin, Germany. Antenne developed the Stereoscope Logo and did extensive work on graphics and layout design for the new Project Blinkenlights website, typography and color schemes. She also contributed lots of animations for Stereoscope.

PapillonUrban hacker and setup and production wizard based in Berlin, Germany. Lead the production team in Berlin with Thomas Fiedler. Papillon had been with Project Blinkenlights from the beginning.

Björn BarnekowGraphic Designer, animator and network specialist based in Berlin, Germany. Contributed the Stereoscope Paint application and original artwork for Stereoscope. Björn had been with Project Blinkenlights from the beginning.

Kaspar MetzWebsite developer and designer, Drupal specialist based in Berlin, Germany. Developed and designed the new Project Blinkenlights website.

Robin SeniorProgrammer based in Toronto, Canada. Co-developed the Blinkenlights Library for Processing with Dan Fraser.

Kirian ScheupleinFilm producer and director of CreAtmosFairy based in Hamburg, Germany. Kirian did the original documentation videos for Project Blinkenlights and also worked on the documentary for Stereoscope.

Michael FullAssistant to Kirian Scheuplein based in Hamburg, Germany.

Marten Suhr3D and graphic designer and animator based in Berlin, Germany. Contributed the original 3D model for Toronto City Hall.

Thomas O'BrienProgrammer based in Toronto, Canada. Wrote the Space Invaders, Breakout, and Snake.

Nhat Quang TranQuang is a visual VFX supervisor and 3d designer based in berlin germany who made the prerendering and lightening of the 3d model
